|Purpose of the course:
The course is structured to ensure that there is a full and complete understanding of how to approach an OHS management system from scratch and how to ensure its full and effective implementation.
SAQA unit standard aligned:
Unit standard 259601 Participate in the implementation and evaluation of a safety and health management programme in the workplace. NQF Level 2 is worth 2 credits.
Unit standard 259639 Explain basic health and safety principles in and around the workplace at NQF level 2 is worth 4 credits.
The skill, knowledge, and values reflected in this unit standard form part of the exit level outcomes required for the National Certificate in Environmental Practice NQF Level 2.
