The Legal Liability for Management course covers the current Occupational health and safety and Mine health and safety legislation
Purpose of the course: This course provides management with a clear understanding of their legal responsibilities under the OHS Act. It covers criminal and civil liability, vicarious liability, and the consequences of non-compliance—including fines, prosecution, reputational damage.
The course also covers the importance of legal documentation, appointments, and communication in maintaining a safe and legally compliant workplace.
To receive a “certificate of successful completion”, the learner must:
- Attend both 2day course of the program.
- Upon completing the course, compile and submit a portfolio of evidence that effectively demonstrates your learning.
